Affiliate marketing promotes other people’s products in return for a small commission for each sale.

You’ve probably seen headings marked “affiliate link” or “sponsored post” on many of the websites you visit; or maybe you’ve already taken the first step and signed up to an affiliate network.

There are at least 3 parties involved.

  • The seller which owns the products inventory and wants to sell products
  • The buyer which wants to purchase products
  • The affiliate which connects the seller with the buyer and gets a commission when the sale occurs.

If a seller sells let's say a laptop for $900 and offer a 5% affiliate commission to the affiliate, when a buyer purchase the product and pays $900, $45 goes directly to the affiliate.

Do you want to know how to promote the products so you can bring buyers to the seller websites and make affiliate commissions?

Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate's own marketing efforts. Affiliate marketing is a way for a company to sell its products by signing up individuals or companies ("affiliates") who market the company's products for a commission.

In affiliate marketing, an affiliate is a person who promotes a company's products and earns a commission for each sale or lead that they generate. The affiliate will typically have a website or blog, and will use various marketing tactics such as search engine optimization, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing to drive traffic to their site and promote the company's products.

When a customer clicks on one of the affiliate's links and makes a purchase, the affiliate earns a commission. The amount of the commission can vary depending on the terms of the affiliate program and the specific product being promoted.

Affiliate marketing can be a valuable tool for companies looking to expand their reach and increase their sales, as well as for individuals looking to earn extra income through their marketing efforts.

Affiliate marketing offers a mutually beneficial relationship: the merchant gains exposure and potential customers through the efforts of affiliates, while affiliates have the opportunity to earn passive income by promoting products or services that align with their audience's interests.
It's worth noting that affiliate marketing requires compliance with ethical practices and adherence to relevant laws and regulations, such as disclosing affiliate relationships and following guidelines set by advertising platforms and networks.

An affiliate marketer is bassicaly a middleman between a seller and a buyer. Whenever a client buys the seller product via youur arrangement, you earn a commssion from that sale.

There are several methods you can that:
- Share links in your blog posts/socialmedia/etc
- Email your list of contacts
- Promote product/services via paid ads (Ad networks are your perfect ally in this case)
- Sponsored posts & partnerships

In business, an affiliate is an entity that owns less than a majority stake in another's stock. Affiliations can also describe a type of relationship in which at least two different companies are subsidiaries of a larger parent company.
