Networking events
Numerous networking events during the conference include drinks, a meet-the-market area, an expo area, and parties. Even if you are an introvert, you can network — attendees are open and friendly, and the vibe is very relaxed.
Still, remember that some areas may become quite crowded and noisy at times, so be prepared for that.
And if those reasons are not enough for you, there is still plenty of awesome swag, including stickers, T-shirts, and other gifts from the exhibiting companies.

Many exhibitors come from various niches and industries. You will meet affiliate networks, ad networks, AI, banking, CPA networks, crypto, digital agencies, forex, payments, hosting, SEO, and more.

My Personal Experience at MAC Yerevan 2025
The 2025 edition of MAC was my first, and I was thrilled to attend. That's because I know that in Russian-speaking countries, some pretty good affiliates do wonders in the industry.
As there are no direct flights from Bucharest to Yerevan, I took a connecting flight through Abu Dhabi. My partner's flight connected in Cyprus. Both were affordable. You can find good accommodation on Booking.com, Agoda, and Airbnb.
When I landed in Yerevan, the first thing I did was activate my Armenian eSIM data and download the taxi app, GG. Yandex Go also works there.
I took a taxi to the event, but since I booked a place close to the venue, I walked the following days. After I got my badge, I went directly to the expo area, which was vibrant. Many companies had a lot of people walking through the stands, so I decided to talk to the company representatives over both days. You can't cover the expo area in just one day.
One of my concerns was that, not speaking Russian, I would not be able to communicate with many people. That turned out to be wrong — everyone was willing to speak English, and I made plenty of connections. I was also surprised to meet people from Argentina, Israel, Vietnam, India, Brazil, and a couple of Romanian folks.
The food was excellent, with both complimentary and paid options available, and drinks too. The music wasn't particularly loud, and the space for networking and sessions was well defined, which is essential at crowded events like this one.
Speaking of sessions, there was live translation for the speakers who presented in Russian. I just took the headphones and could follow along fine. I made a couple of notes on paid ads and affiliate marketing techniques that I'm eager to implement. As I mentioned at the beginning, Russian-speaking affiliates have a different approach, sometimes thinking outside the box, so there is always something to learn.
The side events and after-parties were also top-notch. The only downside was the wireless connection in the expo center and the mobile data at the after-party location. I'm unsure whether the cell tower couldn't support that many simultaneous connections, given there were over 4,000 people, or what the actual issue was.
After the event, I stayed in Yerevan for another two days to explore the city. The people are very friendly; they know enough English for basic conversation, and it's a good vibe everywhere.
