Here are five tips I've learned from attending numerous digital marketing conferences. I suggest checking them and applying them if you want to make the most of your presence at Affiliate World:
- Set the goals you want to reach. Do you want to network, learn, establish new partnerships, or meet existing partners? Ensure you have a goal or two to focus on.
- Plan your important meetings. Use the app to see the list of attendees, speakers, and exhibitors, and contact them to plan an appointment. Things can get chaotic during the conference, so you may miss a lot if you don't schedule meetings.
- Be cheerful and willing to learn. Attitude is always critical and can make a vast difference in the outcomes. I recommend being positive, glad to meet new people, and ready to learn more and discover new things.
- Select the tracks that are essential and that you don't want to miss. Once the track list is available, select the ones you don't want to miss, especially those happening in parallel. If you have more people on your team, assign tracks to each person to cover as much as possible.
