There are so many new cryptocurrency projects launching every month that it's becoming harder to tell which ones deserve attention. Some have impressive technology but never build a community, while others generate a lot of hype and disappear within a few months.

When I first started following crypto, I mostly looked at price movements. Now I spend more time researching the project itself before deciding whether it's worth watching.

Some of the things I usually check are:

  • Does the project solve a real problem?
  • Is the team active and transparent?
  • Are development updates published regularly?
  • Is there a clear roadmap?
  • Does the community seem genuine?
  • Are partnerships and announcements backed by official sources?

I've also noticed that projects with consistent communication often appear more trustworthy than those that only post when they're launching a token or announcing an exchange listing.

With thousands of cryptocurrencies competing for attention, building trust seems just as important as building the technology.

I'm curious how everyone else approaches this.

When you discover a new cryptocurrency project, what's the first thing you look at?

Do you focus on the technology, tokenomics, community, team, partnerships, market potential, or something else?

I'd be interested to hear what factors have helped you identify good projects—and which warning signs have helped you avoid bad ones.
