Referral traffic: Traffic that occurs when a user finds you through a site other than a major search engine. A few times it might happen that paid social traffic would not show up in google analytics as it means that traffic was bad traffic, traffic that’s fake, or from a bot, google analytics filters out that kind of traffic as their search engine itself, doesn’t include that as points when ranking a certain page.
