Thomas Scottish Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Been noticing more prop firms lately using giveaways/challenges to attract newer traders, but most of them are either unrealistic or encourage pure gambling behavior. One thing I found interesting recently was a community event being done with The5%ers where 10 traders can receive $25k funded accounts. The focus seems more around participation and community activity rather than just “flip an account fast” trading. Requirements were basically: register with The 5%ers leave feedback/review about the firm engage in the trading community discussions Curious what people here think about these kinds of funded-account giveaways in general. Do they actually help traders get started, or do most people just treat them like lottery tickets? https://x.com/propfirms/status/2051298097071022277
