Do you think scanning multiple assets makes you more profitable as a trader?

When I began, I always heard that the best traders stick to one chart and understand it deeply. That idea makes sense because every asset has its own rhythm.

But in reality…

BTC setups don’t always translate the same way on Gold or EURUSD. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

So I adjusted my approach. I stopped focusing on one asset and started focusing on one setup. learning how it forms, how it behaves, and what usually comes next.

And over time, I noticed something…

The setup might look slightly different across markets, but the reaction is often similar. So now I balance both.

But I’m still very much curious to know if they are people that learnt how to trade by mastering one asset or multiple markets with one setup”?
