London vs New York VPS locations and noticeable latency difference?

Does it affects if the broker’s servers are in London, but most of the VPS deals I see are in NY. Anyone tested both or have experience with any?

If your broker is hosted in London, I would start with a London VPS because distance still matters for execution. For swing trading the gap may be small, but for scalping or EAs even a modest latency difference can show up.

Distance seems to affect latency levels; the further the VPS is from the trading platform server location, the more likely it is to impact speed. Scalping can indeed have a significant impact, but for swing traders, it might not be a big deal.
