Bitcoin is consolidating after a strong upward run having seen the price dropped from $93,141 to $89,411 over the past 24 hours, reflecting short term profit taking following its third consecutive weekly gain a milestone not seen since July.

Meanwhile it is always an interesting signal when Gold price hitting new all time highs while Bitcoin is catching a sell off. Usually that is a clear sign of a risk off mood, but I don’t think that capital is actually leaving the space for good. To me it feels more like money is just sitting on the sidelines or hiding out in safer assets, waiting for a much better entry point once the dust settles.

Lately I have been paying less attention to the spot markets and focusing more on what is happening in derivatives and pre launch environments. That is usually where users can see the early positioning before a real narrative even starts to form. It is a bit quieter there which makes it easier to spot where the actual conviction is building up before the rest of the market catches on.

I have specifically been watching $SKR on the BingX pre launch futures. I am not necessarily looking for a massive moonshot right this second, but the way it is structured right now makes a lot of sense to me. There is less overall trend and early liquidity which gives users a decent window to see how traders are actually behaving before it hits the main perpetual listings and things get volatile.

For now I am treating this phase as a research exercise rather than a high leverage opportunity. It is more about reading the room and seeing who is stepping in early versus who is staying sidelined while Bitcoin tries to find its footing. If we see Bitcoin stabilize and capital starts moving back into alts, these are the types of setups that usually react first.

I am curious to know if anyone is staying cautious and measrable right now or also looking at something to explore like this pre launch markets.
