What do you think about layer 1 projects?

Despite institutional accumulation of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies, the market has not shown any signs of a big push. But something I have noticed is that the institutional accumulation is on layer 1 projects, and this has made me curious.

 

I recently came across the CESS Network is a L1 blockchain that serves as a decentralized data infrastructure, though yet to be on exchanges, they seem to present a good project, and it is also a layer 1 project. So, after doing my research, I would love to know your opinion on the project.

 

What do you guys think about layer 1 blockchain projects being a good investment this period?
