Sketchit Posted yesterday at 04:07 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:07 AM Just thought I’d share something that caught my attention for those interested in cross-asset collateralization. RESOLV is a crypto protocol that maintains a stablecoin, $USR, backed directly by Bitcoin and Ethereum. What’s different is that it uses short perpetual futures to hedge those positions, aiming to keep the system stable even during major price swings. There’s also an insurance pool (RLP) built in to ensure overcollateralization. Why it matters here? It’s the closest I’ve seen to gold’s principle of hard backing except this one uses BTC and ETH. The protocol just got listed on a major exchange and immediately saw its token, RESOLV, jump from $0.20 to over $85.70 in value on BingX chart. Whether or not you’re into crypto, it’s worth following. If this model holds, we could be looking at a new standard for reserve-backed digital assets.
