Mishaofweb3
For many Web3 newbies, trading seems like the natural first step. And while trading can be profitable once mastered, I don’t believe it’s the best starting point. Personally, I began my journey by participating in exchange-based events like launchpools and referral programs. These opportunities allowed me to build initial capital with little to no risk, which I later used to gradually start practicing trading. However, I’ve noticed that a lot of newbies rush into trading without proper experience or financial backup, and this often leads to losses and frustration. As a Web3 newbie, I always recommend looking out for events like giveaways, launchpools, and other exchange promotions. A great example is the current launchpool on Bitget where users can stake their BGB tokens to earn free $OBOL. If you're already holding BGB, this is a relatively safe way to earn extra tokens, which you can later sell. Over time, this method can help you accumulate liquidity and ease your way into actual trading. What do you think, should newbies explore promotional events first or dive straight into trading?
