Long term investment or short term, which one is the best?

There are two types of investment, long term and short term investment. In short term you invest for just a short period of time hoping to make profit within the period. In long term you choose to go several months and even years. 

Personally I believe the long term is the best, just invest with funds you won't be needing soon and check up on it from time to time. It can be tricky too though, so know when to swap to stable coin and when to buy back.

I'm not an English native speaker but I believe what you call short term investment is usually called trading, or - with a term which has a slight negative connotation - speculation.

One way to distinguish investing and speculating is - as you rightly say - the time window: speculating is a quick act whereas investing involves patience.
