The decision to deliver the M1 Abrams tanks was announced just hours after Germany said it would send 14 of its Leopard 2 tanks to the battlefield." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64404928 Media say that Ukraine will receive between 150 and up to 300 tanks from US, Germany, UK, Poland and other Western countries. Announcing the US decision to send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, President Joe Biden described them as "the most capable tanks in the world".
