bill colton Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The scaling solutions introduced by Ethereum have given us a nice range of layer 2 networks to use. This can mean reduced transaction costs, increased users of applications, and more choice for developers. However There are some downsides to using different networks. Increased complexity, bridge risk, different liquidity pools and a less uniform experience. If you do not know much about the blockchain infrastructure it can also become confusing having to manage your assets over multiple networks. How do you feel about this? Does using layer 2 networks help make Ethereum more accessible? Is liquidity fragmentation becoming a real issue? Would you prefer to have one dominant network or multiple niche networks? I think the balance between scalability and ease of use will be important for Ethereum in the long run.
