I’m currently researching VPS hosting Mumbai options for a website targeting users in India. I’m trying to understand which factors are actually important before selecting a plan.

Apart from the server location, I’m considering CPU and RAM, NVMe/SSD storage, bandwidth, network speed, uptime, backups, security, root access, and technical support.

For a small-to-medium website, how much RAM and CPU would you recommend to start with? Also, does choosing a Mumbai-based server make a noticeable difference in latency for visitors from different parts of India?
