Diego Santos Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Hello everyone, I would like to hear your opinion on a topic that has caught my attention. Many companies with real products or services are now using affiliate programs to expand their customer base instead of relying only on traditional advertising. This allows people to recommend the business and receive a commission if they bring in new customers. In theory, this seems like a win-win model. The company reduces its marketing costs, affiliates are rewarded for successful referrals, and the business can grow through its community. For example, platforms such as Meveridge also use an affiliate model as part of their growth strategy. Do you think this approach can produce sustainable long-term growth for a legitimate business, or is it only effective during the early stages? What factors, in your opinion, determine whether an affiliate program becomes a successful marketing tool rather than just another short-term trend? I'm interested in hearing different perspectives and experiences.
Affiliate2Day Posted July 17 Posted July 17 As an affiliate program for own products with 16 years of experience, we can definitely say - Yes, affiliate marketing is a great way to promote your business and grow your revenue! It takes time and efforts to develop a trusted program with profitable terms for both sides, but it is definitely worth it.
Verified Company DoubleImpactPR ✔️ Posted 57 minutes ago Verified Company Posted 57 minutes ago It comes down to what you offer, if you offer something that is either: - unique, catering towards a market where there is demand of for it - able to bring competitive or even above the competition returns to the affiliates - has an established track record and brand awareness already You may proceed with launching an affiliate program right away To gain trust among affiliates takes time and a lot of effort, but any of the above may get you qualified to start an actual affiliate program. However, for any start up I always strongly recommend to focus on own monetization, getting enough data and fine tuning the product before going public with an affiliate program. If the results for affiliates would be sub-par, thus the product not ready for public promotion, it will do major reputation damage, that will be hard to fix. Once one can monetize its own product, convert traffic and make money with internal media buying or other available sources = that is the timing when one can let in other affiliates on the deal as well.
