Ledora Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Something that used to feel out of reach is starting to look different At first, I thought this whole thing was just hype. Pre IPO opportunities, especially something tied to a name like SpaceX, always felt like something reserved for institutions or high net worth players. Not something regular traders would realistically get access to. But recently came across IPO Prime on Bitget, and it actually made me pause. The structure feels different instead of directly buying in, it seems like exposure is tied to participation and VIP status, especially with the airdrop phase for newer VIP users. That’s where it gets interesting. It almost feels like a way to gain exposure without the usual upfront barrier, but at the same time, access isn’t equal across everyone. Allocation, eligibility, timing all of it plays a role. Still trying to fully understand how it works in practice, but it definitely changes how I see these kinds of opportunities. Curious is this actually a shift in access, or just another model that sounds better than it is?
Shontz Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Interesting point. Feels like access is shifting, even if it’s still tier based. At least retail users are finally in the conversation, which wasn’t the case before. Still early though, curious how fair it stays over time.
