If you’ve been trading for years, especially coming from a family background in it, switching platforms isn’t something you do lightly. A lot of experienced traders prefer working from a full PC setup with dedicated analytical tools rather than relying on mobile apps. Trading forex on a PC is more convenient and allows for greater multitasking flexibility. However, as technology advances, some traders may use mobile platforms to monitor their accounts while executing automated trades using trading robots via a VPS. However, I still prefer to trade manually on a PC.
LedgerHopper Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Study and learn forex trading by understanding market basics, currency pairs, and price movement. Focus on technical analysis, risk management, and trading psychology. Practice on a demo account before using real money. Keep learning from mistakes, stay disciplined, and build a clear strategy instead of chasing quick profits.
Zeologic Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Studying forex and learning forex trading, in addition to focusing on technical analysis, also requires fundamental analysis, as market reactions to economic performance and global economic issues can affect the value of a country's currency against other currencies.
heinrichklaaseen Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Forex trading can be quite challenging at the beginning, especially with all the charts and market movements to understand. I’ve found that starting with basic concepts and practicing on demo accounts really helps build confidence. Similar to how the PUP Grading System helps track progress clearly, consistency in learning is key here too.
Zeologic Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Beginners should learn forex trading slowly, without rushing to make real money in a live account. Taking advantage of the free demo accounts provided by forex brokers is a wise way to learn trading without having to spend real money. Demo accounts aim to familiarize you with forex trading from various perspectives, including trading platforms, strategies, trading systems, currency pair selection, and more.
pradegxs Posted June 1 Posted June 1 True, but demo only helps if you treat it like live trading. Same risk rules, same journal, same patience. Most beginners don’t fail because they never found a strategy, they fail because they rush live money before they understand risk, spreads, news, and their own psychology
