Small balances provide little room for error after leverage, fees, and ordinary volatility are considered. Three boundaries can be established: The maximum capital allocated to the futures account; The maximum acceptable loss per trade; The daily or weekly loss level that triggers a trading stop. Stopping after a predefined loss limit is reached is often more important than searching emotionally for the next trade to recover the loss. Feature Four: Futures Copy Trading The core mechanism of futures copy trading is that the system replicates a lead trader’s opening and closing actions according to parameters set by the follower. It reduces the operational burden of constant monitoring and manual order placement, but it does not eliminate market risk or transfer responsibility to the lead trader. How Should Users Configure Their First Copy Trade After Resumption? After the feature resumes, new users should not allocate their entire futures budget to one lead trader. When Should Users Stop Copy Trading? The decision to stop copying should not depend only on the latest loss. More importantly, users should determine whether the strategy has moved away from the reason it was selected.
