Gold has pulled back as stronger inflation concerns and expectations of higher interest rates have supported the US dollar, reducing demand for non-yielding assets in the short term.

That said, central banks continue adding to their gold reserves, suggesting long-term confidence in the metal remains intact despite recent volatility.
