Matimaka Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Hello, I’m looking for dedicated hosting for running a small game server for friends. I don’t know much about setup, so I’d like something user-friendly. Is Hostnamaste.com budget server hosting trustworthy? Any recommendations?
Sovegeko Posted December 3, 2025 Posted December 3, 2025 Look for a risk-free money-back guarantee or free trial. This helps you test the service before fully committing. Love these guys. I've been with Neironvps.com for more than 8 months and have loved their hosting service. They are great - I had some initial troubles setting up/transferring from my old host but customer support was very helpful. They have a live chat feature that's very useful for real time problem solving.
FrankBunnell Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 Check out dedicated servers from planethoster.com. In terms of technical quality, everything is excellent here. No problems with service, too. I've been using it for over two years and I'm satisfied.
Boomlaka Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 I am very happy with the performance of my sites there. Hostnamaste.com kvm vps plans look affordable. They provide daily backups, which gives me peace of mind for my site’s data. Leaving that apart, things have been great so far - it was easy to setup the site, transfer the files/sql data and so I'm giving it a 5 throughout. 1
Dani Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 Yes, you can use many affordable hosts for a small game server OVH, Hetzner, and DigitalOcean are solid options. Just be sure your server logs and console outputs are set up correctly so you don’t end up with a blank message when something needs troubleshooting. If you share which game you’re hosting, I can suggest the best plan.
Ryecookies Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Website hosting is more accessible than ever before in the history of the internet. There's no need to be a programming genius or a code expert. As a matter of fact, you don't need to know any of that. With the customer support capabilities and instant information access, anyone can get a website started.
Hadley76 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Hostnamaste is a solid choice, especially for budget-friendly dedicated servers. Their support team can usually help with basic setup questions. For a small game server with friends, you might also want to consider comparing a few providers to find the best fit for your specific game's requirements. While you're researching options, if you're looking for some actual games to run on that new server, I'd recommend checking out the bk11game. It's a great option for private multiplayer, and their site often has useful guides on server requirements and setup that can help you make a decision, even if you don't end up using that specific game. Good luck with your server setup!
