AliceSun Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Everyone here is connected to crypto in one way or another. I was thinking about how I first got into crypto and decided to ask the forum how it started for you. I’ll go first 🥰 I’m the kind of person who likes learning and trying new things. I usually pick up a new hobby every couple of weeks. I’ve tried a lot of stuff: sewing clothes, drawing, 3D modeling, doing website design in Figma, and at some point I got into crypto. Everyone was talking about it, my friends started learning about it, so I joined in too. My first experience was weird. The money was kind of there, but also kind of not. Prices kept moving all the time and that honestly scared me. Over time, I started reading more, learning more, and digging into it. And this interest has clearly turned into more than just a “two-week-hobby.” I’m not saying I’m an expert, I still see myself as a beginner, but I really enjoy doing this. Your turn 😉👇 2
MenAnthony Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Oh, I got into this not that long ago too, and so far it’s been going pretty well. I was introduced to this world by my uncle, he’s been in crypto for quite a while. I went to him because I had some savings and didn’t want them to just sit there. I knew he understood how to make money work. He said he wouldn’t take my money or invest it for me, since it’s my money. Instead, he explained the basics of trading, crypto exchanges etc, so I could decide myself where to put my money. And that’s what I’m doing now. I’m throwing in small amounts here and there. I’ve already seen a bit of profit. Mostly just learning as I go. 2
CarloEsp Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Got into crypto ’cause I was bored and had too much free time. Kept seeing people talk about Bitcoin all over the internet, so one day I just said “why not” and tried it. Threw in a small amount, nothing serious, just to mess around and see what happens. Mostly just scrolling random stuff and YouTube, no real plan, just trying to piece things together. Still feel like a beginner tbh, just picking things up along the way. Made a few dumb moves, lost some, made some back, but nothing big. Not chasing some “get rich” thing, just doing it out of interest and seeing where it goes. 2
AliceSun Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 Have you already managed to make any noticeable profit during the time you’ve been into crypto? For now, I see it more like extra pocket money, but even that is not bad, in my opinion.
MenAnthony Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Not really. I'm mostly breaking even for now, still learning. Could be worse, at least I'm not at a loss 😄 1

I reinvest most of it, especially since Bitcoin has dropped so much. So I don’t really have real income right now, because I put all my profit back into BTC. 1
Henry Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I’ve been into crypto for a fairly short time. Like everyone else, I started by reading articles, then moved on to forums like this and began trading small amounts. Right now I’m just getting more practice, since I want this to become an extra source of passive income. Ideally, I’d like it to replace my main job one day. I’m already making a bit of money. Since I’m in it for the long term, I reinvest all my profits back into crypto, and it’s starting to pay off. Lately I’ve also been putting part of it into Bitcoin, which I see as a solid asset for the future. 2
