Bitlayer (BTR) to List on BingX – Can Programmable Bitcoin Compete?

Bitlayer is building a Bitcoin-first Layer-2 using BitVM to anchor scalability and smart contracts directly to BTC security. With 1B total supply and ~26% circulating, its token BTR powers governance, staking, incentives, and long-term ecosystem growth.

 

Bitcoin’s fundamentals add weight to this timing: ETF inflows surpass $100B, institutional treasuries near 1M BTC, and hash rates hit 1.008 Z H/s even as fees dropped below $1. Bitlayer’s roadmap includes 20,000 TPS capacity by Q4 2025, making it one of the few projects attempting to extend Bitcoin’s utility without compromising its base trust.
