Cryptoic
Asia has been quietly dominating the crypto space. According to the 2024 Chainanalysis Geography of Crypto report; India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philipinnes and Pakistan are part of the top 10 countries in the Global Crypto Adoption Index. India was ranked first which is really impressive, despite facing chaos caused by some exchange. Interestingly, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, China & Korea are also taking the lead. I also came across a report by Foresight Ventures stating Asia has the largest share of liquidity globally and also 60% percent of global users are from this same continent. This massive crypto adoption in Asia is one to talk about. Personally, I’m aware of Asia being a huge force in the market but i wasn’t expecting it to take a whole 60% part of the industry. Can it be America or Africa ? Let me know your thoughts. Edited Thursday at 03:58 PM by Cryptoic
Midexmth
That's a fascinating insight into Asia's dominance in the crypto space! The numbers are indeed staggering, with 60% of global users hailing from the continent. I'm not surprised, though - Asia has always been at the forefront of technological adoption and Bitget and Bitget wallet have actually played a brilliant role in making that happen as enough proof is out there to justify it https://x.com/GracyBitget/status/1734246797131006100 As for which continent could potentially surpass Asia's feat, I think Africa has a strong chance as there are some amazing initiatives and projects underway to drive crypto adoption and financial inclusion in Africa. America, on the other hand, has a more established financial system, so I think it'll be harder for crypto to gain the same level of traction there. But anything can happen in the future.

So you are saying, crypto finance in developing countries performs financial tasks that in developed countries are covered by banking?
