What's your opinion about exchange tokens? Are they worth it?

Many people ask if exchange tokens are good investments. I think it depends on a few key things:

1. The exchange itself - Is it well-known and trusted? Does it innovate?

2. Use cases - Does the token have real uses that drive demand?

3. Results - How has the token's price performed historically?

For example, Token Insight looked at performance in August 2023. Bitget's BGB token did very well, going from $0.45 to an all-time high of $1 recently. 

This shows that some exchanges work hard to increase their token's value over time through things like new features.

So in my opinion, exchange tokens can be good investments if the exchange is reputable and innovative, the token is actually useful, and historical gains look promising.  

But individuals may value different factors when evaluating tokens. What do you think makes an exchange token worth investing in? I'm open to other views. The key is doing thorough research first.
