Hi, I have been suffering from insomnia for a few months now, so I have become irritable and have health problems. Do you have any advice on how to overcome this?

Have you tried a calming bedtime routine, like cutting down screen time and doing relaxation exercises? If it’s been going on for a while, it might help to talk to a doctor about possible treatments.

has anything changed or worked for you since then? I've been struggling on and off with sleep too, and found that cutting screen time an hour before bed helped a bit. Curious if anyone here tried natural supplements like magnesium or L-theanine and noticed any real difference?

Insomnia’s rough. I’ve been there and found small changes help — keeping a routine, dim lights, and quiet time before bed. For me, winding down sometimes meant chilling with some bongs to relax and slow my thoughts.

Warm tea, a cooler bedroom, and shutting off screens a bit earlier have helped me a ton. I’ve also tried gentle stretches before bed to take the edge off that wired-but-tired feeling. Some folks I know use things like bulk CBD distillate for sale to relax in the evenings, though everyone’s different. Keeping a simple wind‑down routine can make a surprising difference once your body gets used to it.

Walking outside for 10 minutes every day after dinner helps me sleep (when I actually do it, lol). Any activity in the cold helps too, I like figure skating, or even just taking care of my garden.

I had similar issues when I was studying. Because of anxiety, I couldn’t fall asleep for ages. What helped me was something really simple. Before bed, I’d open a window to get some fresh air, then about 10–15 minutes before sleep I’d tidy things up and just sit quietly, trying to relax, almost like a bit of meditation. It actually worked. Not instantly, but within a week my sleep settled down. You can also make a calming herbal tea as an extra, like mint tea for example.

Just wanted to say that a workout or a run a couple of hours before bed can really help. You shouldn’t crash right after training, your body’s still switched on. Give it some time, everything relaxes, and falling asleep gets way easier. Exercise kills stress and helps you sleep. Profit!
