Here is a tweet from CZ Binance on May 11 where people speculate that he secretly signaled the attack on UST. Binance had the reason as they want to push their own stable coin BUSD.

I've been watching these all the time. But he did not have the means to trade. I wrote a Binance chat at that time and told people not to buy, and when the cost was $24, I said that it would go down to $1 for sure, and then we'll see, the forecast was correct, but it did not bring profit.

Is tricky to make money when a coin gets distroyed. The best way is to take the inverse of the coin but not many coins have an inverse.For instance for BTC we have BTCUP and BTCDOWN. BTCDOWN is a up to 3x leveraged coin that increase its value when BTC gows UP.

Check in the picture below. When the price of BTC goes dows the price of BTCDOWN increases.

But in case of LUNA as the coin got almost distroyed and delisted by the exchangers (Binance 1st limited the leveraged trading) you may endup with nothing.
