finsheet Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 If you use spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) to manage your crypto portfolio, do check out Finsheet (finsheet.io), a website my friends and I started recently. To get latest quote of Bitcoin, use this one simple function: =FS_Latest("COINBASE:BTC-USD") If you are a trader that needs intra-day data to do technical analysis or backtesting, this function will give you 1-minute price of Bitcoin from the beginning of today (04/25/2022) until now: =FS_CryptoCandles("COINBASE:BTC-USD", "1", "04/25/2022") The website is completely free right now since we just launched. Really appreciate if you guys can check it out and let me know any feedback you may have. Thanks a lot.
MichaelXras Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 Thanks for sharing! I’m always looking for ways to streamline my crypto tracking, and this looks like a great tool to test out.
RobySul Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 (edited) Been using Google Sheets to keep track of my crypto stuff, and that Finsheet tool looks interesting. The quick Bitcoin quote function could make things way easier. I’ve been pulling in data manually, which is kind of a pain, so something like =FS_Latest("COINBASE") sounds useful. I’ve taken a few courses at www.myexcelonline.com in the past to brush up on Excel, and honestly, they really helped me set up some solid tracking sheets. It’d be cool to combine those skills with Finsheet for more detailed analysis, especially with the 1-minute price data function. Edited October 7, 2024 by RobySul
DediRock Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 I think it's a must try! Thanks for the info!
Ronastiny Posted January 8 Posted January 8 (edited) For me, that Finsheet tool sounds pretty handy. The =FS_Latest function for getting Bitcoin prices directly into a sheet could save a lot of time. Same with the 1-minute price data function—it’s perfect if you’re into detailed analysis or backtesting. I’ve messed around with Excel courses before, and learning a few tricks really helped me set up better tracking sheets. If you’re looking to level up your skills, Microsoft Excel Books is worth checking out. Edited January 17 by Ronastiny
