Are antidepressants addictive and how can I avoid them?

Recommended Posts

Antidepressants are not addictive. The person can always stop taking these medications, gradually or immediately reducing the dosage. Addiction, which is characteristic of addiction, to an antidepressant does not occur

If you are interested in whether is zoloft addictive, in the general sense of the term addictive, it is not. But....Zoloft causes a withdrawal syndrome if you stop using it abruptly. This drug affects the processes occurring in the human brain, so you should take the drug only with a doctor's prescription. And withdrawal is a terrible thing. Worse than any withdrawal, believe me.
