                 Please tell me, Why are cryptocurrencies banned in India?

Cryptocurrencies aren't actually banned in India, and the government doesn't intend to ban them for now. They do, however, intend to impose a 30% tax on them and introduce their own CBDC - a digital rupee, so using cryptos in India may not be very easy in the future.
