donaraf
I like Italian and I am actively trying to learn it now. I also had similar problems while learning Italian. While studying, I tried watching films, first with subtitles, then just without translation. But in colloquial speech, something completely different may be meant) This kind of is called a substitution of concepts. Therefore, as a result, I signed up for interactive italian courses. In addition to actually learning the language, there is an opportunity to ask what is not clear at once, and not rummage through the forums. So it's up to you, but I wouldn't bother with such problems and dealt with this issue with a teacher or with a training resource.
