New traders should only focus on trading one pair and they should try to trade on higher timeframe rather than scalping because buying and selling on shorter timeframes are merely a suicide in my opinion.

I think that it is all relative what is good for beginners and what not. I highly recommend that they should use demo account to practice various trading methods, and then to decide what they will use on live account. Scalping method bears relatively lower risk but this is why profitability is low

Scalping can be good and scalpers are the real geniuses i guess however it might not be for the new traders, they should trade on long time frames.
