Trading is very risky

How to measure trading risk? Do you know any theoretically based approach to this? I heard about variance of market returns but it looks to primitive for me. Maybe you can advice me some books on this? thanks in advance.

Since I use a high level of trading leverage for my live trading account, this is how I am very sensitive in my trading access points. Also, I always avoid trading. Rome was not built in one day. A trader needs time to train himself. Needs time to learn about the market, develop a trading plan etc. The professional thing is just a tag unless that trader is trying to attract investment.

My daily trading target is only 60 pips and I trade only for this short target. But, I never trying hard to make this trading target in every day, as I am more serious on monthly target. In addition, I am sure I may not get good entry point in every day, that's way I am very relaxed with my daily target. But, huge trading pairs ' collection of AAFX helps me to get my daily target comfortably.
