  27. Although I never pursued a corporate career and am not a good fit for one, I have still interacted with many corporate personnel. For me, it was quite shocking to see someone hired in a corporation, no more than a couple of months, talk so proudly about the company's achievements, even if they hadn't made any major contributions. The major lesson that I took from the corporate world, outside of it, actually is that they can fire you the next day even if you have had major contributions over time.
